Since launching in 2019 in the US market, when it entered New Jersey, following a landmark partnership with 888Casino, the company has gained a sterling reputation among players, for their highly innovative slot titles, which they hope to bring to the ever-expanding Michigan market.
Having only launched online gambling in January last year, Michigan has surpassed all expectations over 12 months, regularly setting monthly revenue records.
Pariplay can become an authority
Now armed with a provisional internet gaming supplier license for the state, the content provider has wasted no time in entering into negotiations with some of the biggest available operators in Michigan to supply slot content.
Adrian Bailey, managing director at Pariplay, said: “We are very pleased to be granted our Michigan license in what is an important moment for Pariplay.
“We’ve made a concerted effort to grow our reach in the US both through signing new partners and gaining new licenses, and this approach continues to generate success for us. It is an exciting time at Pariplay and we can’t wait to get started in Michigan.”
Parent company subject to acquisition
Owners Aspire Global, meanwhile could well be taken over imminently after the online lottery platform Neon Games made a SEK4.3bn (£349.0m/€417.6m/$476.0m) offer for the company and all of its assets.
As a result, it could mean that there may be a change of strategy for Pariplay, with any potential new owners, perhaps wanting to integrate their software or even look to expand even more aggressively over the next few months.
With the US market continuing to increase quickly, there is certainly a big opportunity for Pariplay to seize the initiative and become a lead supplier for a number of the online casino brands across the country.
