Inspired Entertainment launches in Michigan with GAN

Last Updated on by James King

Premier provider of online gaming content, Inspired Entertainment, has launched in the US state of Michigan,  via a partnership agreement with GAN Limited – another leading provider.

It means that GAN becomes the latest platform to integrate Inspired’s content, with the latter gaining access to an extensive network of operators in multiple US states.

With the US being one of the fastest-growing and highest potential online gambling markets, the deal is quite significant for Inspired, with the partnership able to unlock a number of opportunities.

Following the announcement of the agreement, Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspired revealed: “Multiple top iGaming operators in the U.S. use GAN’s platform and we are excited to collaborate with the GAN team.

“We are in the early innings of rollout in the U.S. digital gaming industry and having GAN as a platform partner broadens our market access.  Demand for our content remains strong and we are looking forward to ramping our online slot portfolio and distribution.”

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer at GAN, Dermot Smurfit added: “Inspired’s games have had a strong performance in the U.S, and we are excited to include their proven popular content in the GAN library.

“Our Super RGS system has the potential to work with any US operator including non-platform clients and we are delighted to release Inspired content to other iGaming states and customers on the roadmap in 2022 and beyond.”

Michigan offering much promise

Having only launched online gambling in January 2021, Michigan has broken multiple monthly records in terms of wagering and gross gaming revenue, with both online casino and sports betting proving popular.

For Inspired, this agreement comes at a pivotal time, with GAN primed to gain a significant foothold in the state via supplier deals with a number of prominent operators. It also sees them diversify their offering considerably, having launched an online lottery product in the Canadian province of Quebec last year.
