Yggdrasil flexes muscles in Greek market

Last Updated on by James King

Leading online gambling content publisher, Yggdrasil Gaming has expanded its reach in Greece, after securing a distribution deal with the major operator Kaizen Group, which will also see Yggdrasil reach into other markets.

It means that Yggdrasil’s entire portfolio of games and slots, plus those that are included in its YGMasters Program (a partner initiative that allows for third parties to publish their slots), go live with Kaizen Group’s brand, Stoiximan.

In addition to this, Yggdrasil’s content will also become available in other newly regulated markets over the next few months, with Germany, Czech Republic and Romania, three that have been earmarked, via another of Kaizen’s assets, the notable Betano brand.

What does this mean for Yggdrasil?

Over the last couple of years, the content provider has been quietly expanding its presence, through initiatives such as its Masters Program, in addition to reaching into new markets with further partnerships.

While they are quite well-known in the UK market, the last 12 months has seen them concentrate their efforts on the wider European market and as a result of this latest deal, it means that they can now start to gain a footprint in new regions.

Particularly renowned for having a number of prolific games under their purview, such as Gigablox, MultiMax, GigaRise and DoubleMax, it means that these will now get further exposure, while also providing some clues as to whether they are going to be just as highly regarded.

Significant milestone for Yggdrasil

The news of the deal has been greeted especially positively by both parties, while for Yggrasil is represents a substantial coup.

Speaking about the details of the partnership, Director of Commerical Operations at Yggdrasil Andrew Pefler, revealed: “Kaizen Group is a renowned and respected operator and we couldn’t think of a better partner to expand in Greece with and to boost our presence in other key markets together.

“We are extremely proud of our content portfolio and next year will see us introduce even more outstanding games offering superior player experiences.”

Meanwhile, RNG Casino Manager Dimokratis Papadimos, at Kaizen Group added: “Yggdrasil is a well-established supplier with a superior games portfolio and this partnership will see us significantly boost our gaming offering, with unique new content, innovative mechanics, features and themes.

“We are thrilled to offer their content to our players in Greece and look forward to strengthening our partnership across all markets.”
